I received my Master of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University in 1993.
My career began at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where I treated a wide variety of patients and also served as a clinical instructor for students.
In 1996, I started working at Doyletown Hospital. I treated all levels of care including acute, subacute, in patient rehab, & out patient rehab. I was the Coordinator of Clinical Education and taught aerobics to employees.
In 2013, I began working for Bayada Home Health Care.
I formed Lisa Cassidy Physical Therapy LLC in February 2015.
My continuing education includes courses in Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Muscle Energy Technique, McKenzie Approach for Lumbar and Cervical Spine, Stroke Rehab, and Shoulder Rehab.
I am a physical therapist with 28 years of diverse experience. I was a caregiver for my husband who had ALS (aka Lou Gehrig’s Disease) for 22 years. He passed away in October of 2020. Side by side we faced all stages of his disease and disability and together, we found ways to have a happy life in spite of ALS. (Read my ALS Blog). I strive to bring this positivity to every one of my patients.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my sons, exercising, hiking and cooking.
My ultimate goal is to help you get back to living your life to the fullest.
